CO-Parent is a one hour docu-series that journeys with divorced or separated couples that have high conflict and have an exceedingly difficult time dealing and communicating with each other.  The ex-couples could be recently divorced or divorced for years, but in either case, it may be impossible for the ex-partners to co-parent successfully. Often times, the estranged couples are still dealing with residue and years of baggage from their complex relationships.  Life after divorce or separation is never easy for any couple but especially when a child is involved.  For the child, divorce causes emotional trauma.  It also breaks the child’s safety net of feeling that both parents do not have the ability to protect their welfare.

CO-Parent introduces the estranged parents to Merissa, a qualified co-parent coach who intervenes into the lives of ex-couples. Merissa will iron out and disclose the issues as to why the parents are at odds with each other. Merissa will speak with each parent individually, speak with the kids to understand their feelings, and ultimately introduce and coach both parents with techniques and solutions to co-parent amicably and effectively.  The ultimate goal of the show is to address and possibly heal the wounds of the parents and their children by opening the minds of the ex-partners to working cooperatively to raise the best children possible. This will not only steer the couple in the right direction but gives the viewers hope in their own circumstances.
